- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★The best sushi I have ever had. I have eaten tons of sushi in Squamish, Victoria, Vancouver, and Alberta. Yet, every time I eat somewhere else I always miss the fresh taste of Sushi Goemon. It is the number one thing I miss about Squamish when I'm not there. They have the best prices, and the freshest sushi and vegetables I've ever had. The Japanese couple that owns it and cooks are the friendliest, hardest working people I've ever met. I always saw them preparing for the day at 8am and then not leaving until 9pm or later. Forget the Chief, forget the gondola, Sushi Goemon is the number one reason to go to Squamish.
