  Love this hike. Quick and pretty decent. The first quarter sucks so much. That or I'm out of shape! The views are stunning at the top. You have a choice between three peaks to climb, easy to climb all three in a day. You also veer off near the beginning to do the sea to sky trail and can just take the gondola back down

  As a self proclaimed beginner hiker, hiking The Chief was very challenging for me. The park and trail were clean and well maintained, and the views along the way and at the top of the second peak were lovely. I'm giving the park 5 stars mostly because I'm still elated that I survived the hike. My buns are on fire.

  The hike is fantastic, even though it has become extremely crowded over the last few years. I would recommend the longer Sea to Summit trail, it is less crowded, gives you good viewpoints and gets you to the top of the Gondola where if you wish, you can enjoy a beer or two. It does cost $10 or $15 if you want to take the Gondola down. **Word of advice** time and time again I see inexperienced hikers in all sorts of silly attire such as jeans and fancy shoes (ladies I'm looking at you). Wear appropriate clothing and bring lots of water and some snacks or you will regret it.
